In 2015, TECH purchased the former Midwest Feed Building and moved our Adult Life Skills (ALS) program to this location. With the early success of our art program, TECH had the vision for an on-site art studio in the unused portion of the building but needed to raise the funds before completing this remodel project. Through fundraising efforts, which included a benefit concert featuring Suzy Bogguss, as well as a generous gift from the Bobby Megli Estate, the TECH Art Studio quickly became a reality. TECH artists began creating artwork inside of the studio in May of 2016. When a TECH artist chooses to participate in the art program, they receive coaching from a TECH Art Coach, who guides and teaches them about different art media, expanding their abilities every day. Our artists are continually growing their skills.
